PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) In Marylebone

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)

What Is PRP?

Also known as Platelet Rich Plasma therapy, this latest non-surgical, anti-aging treatment involves drawing blood from the patient, separating the plasma component and reinjecting this typically into the face or neck.

This repairing treatment harnesses the body’s own natural healing power to slow and reverse the aging process by delivering growth factors to the exact location where repair and rejuvenation are required.

We offer PRP to patrons in Marylebone, Central London.

PRP therapy is particularly effective when administered around the eyes, nose and mouth and can also target scars. The effect is to plump the skin, fill out lines and wrinkles whilst delivering an overall more radiant appearance.

A small blood sample between 10-20mls is taken. This is then spun in a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from the platelet plasma. These platelets contain proteins that heal injured tissue and damaged skin. Upon reinjection of only the platelets, these proteins are released triggering cells to regenerate, repair and create collagen to rejuvenate and increase the volume of the skin.
